Mr. Smith was born in Arlington, Texas, on March 23, 1963. He has been a resident of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area for more than 30 years. He is married to Nancy McKinney Smith, a native of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and they have two sons. The Smiths reside in Euless and are members of The First Baptist Church of Euless. Mr. Smith is also a member of the Board of Directors of The Hurst-Euless-Bedford Chamber of Commerce, The Mid-Cities Optimist Club, and The H-E-B Rotary Club, where he was named “Rotarian of the Year” in 1993-94.
